As expected there has been a steady rise in contractor requirements since June and an increased requirement for permanent staff for the first quarter 2009/2010. We are beginning to see a rise in some of the areas most severely affected by the GFC such as Human Resources and Personal/Executive Assistants.

There has also been some positive activity for Gel Group! We received excellent news recently that after 5 years of service as a mandatory supplier to the WA State Government, Gel Group has been awarded another three year plus term for the provision of temporary staff across Professional & Executive, Clerical and now Information Communication Technology. It was a great achievement to be recognised, among some 91 companies which submitted tenders, as a quality supplier of temporary staff at highly competitive rates.
